KCB win Floodies for a third year in a row

Kenya Cup champions KCB won the Floodies for a third year in a row beating Menengai Oilers 23-14 on Saturday Oct 12, 2019 at Impala Club.

Oilers led 3-0 for the better part of the first half but the bankers went to the break leading after a five-pointer right at the end. 

KCB won Floodies in 2017, 2018 and 2019 while Oilers were making their first cup final appearance. KCB also won in 2013, 2014 and 2015 as well as 2005 and 2007.

Homeboyz finished third beating Kenya Harlequin 30-5, Impala beat Nondies 17-15 to win Plate while Strathmore Leos claimed the Universities title after downing Mean Machine 26-16.

The Rugby sides take a one-week break before the 2019/20 15s season begins on October 26.
