KCB won the sixth and final leg of the 2019 Stanbic 7s beating Impala Saracens 26-21 on Sunday at Mombasa Sports Club.

Jeremy Griffins put Impala forward before KCB saw fly half Johnstone Olindi sent to the bin and Impala took advantage to double the lead at the interval. 14-0.

Ahmed Shaban pulled one back for KCB that was quickly converted by Levy Amunga. Jeff Okwatch would set up Kenya 7s international Vincent Onyala for the important five pointer with Amunga sure again from the tee.

A quick restart again saw Okwatch kick and chase to present Amunga with just a tap to confirm the third try.

Impala however levelled things with their third try but Shaban Ahmed gave KCB the last laugh scoring at the very end.

Quins finished third after beating 19-14 Homeboyz in sudden death. Kabras beat Nondies 12-10 to win the plate as Mwamba took home the challenge trophy after seeing off Nakuru RFC 14-0.

Machine beat Strathmore 14-10 to finish 13th.
