Six tries in the Driftwood 7s has placed KCB's playmaker Ahmed Shaban at the top of the try scorers chart ahead of the 2nd leg, Kabeberi 7s.

Shaban, one of the key players in a KCB squad that finished a dismal 10th at the Driftwood 7s, is also leading the point scorer's list with 39 points.

In the try scorer's chart, Shaban is followed by a chasing pack of 9 players who have managed four tries each; they include Driftwood 7s MVP and Kabeberi 7s 2013 MVP Leonard Mugaisi, Jacob Ojee, Kabras' Felix Ayange and Kenya U19 flanker Stanley Isogol.

Second in the point scorer's standing is Mwamba's Alois Rutivi with 29 points off four tries and two conversions, five more than the nippy Mugaisi and Aluda Beda of Kabras.

The National Sevens Circuit enters leg number two this weekend where Mwamba will be hosting the Kabeberi 7s, of which Impala Saracens are the reigning champions.
