KCB handed Kenya Harlequin a second defeat of the season beating the Ngong road side 20-32 in the 2019/20 Kenya Cup at RFUEA Grounds on Sat Nov 2.

The champions ran in four tries, three of which were converted in the first half against Quins’ penalty to lead 3-29 at the interval.

Davies Chenge, Ahmed Shaban and Brian Omondi were among the first half scorers as Lyle Asiligwa put up three points for Quins from the tee.

KCB suffered a blow at the start of the second half as winger Michael Kimwele was sent to the bin and Quins awarded a penalty try before scoring back to back tries through Jacob Okumba and Pius Shiundu.

KCB scored the last penalty to register their second win of the season so far.

In Nakuru, Homeboyz continued with their resurgence beating Top Fry Nakuru 10-15 at NAC.

Homeboyz beat Quins last week to register a perfect start to the new season as they prepare to host Menengai Oilers on matchday 3. Mark Wandeto scored Homeboyz's only try of the game with Evin Asena scoring from the tee on a day the Deejayz were given a hattrick.

Nakuru, who have now lost two matches in a row after falling to Oilers last week, head to champions KCB next week.
