It was a double delight for KCB as they were crowned Driftwood 7s champions as well as Stanbic national sevens series winners on Sunday evening at Mombasa sports club.

They beat Impala 26-21. KCB bagged the maximum 22 points in Mombasa to finish the season at 116.

Alongside Driftwood 7s, KCB were champions at Kakamega 7s, Dala 7s and Christie 7s legs.

The series was decided on Saturday evening after close competitors Stanbic Mwamba and Nakuru RFC failed to reach cup quarters.

Prinsloo and Kabeberi 7s champions Mwamba finished second at 92 points while Homeboyz, also at 92, finished third.
