Ugandan international Philip Wokorach will play his first Kenya Cup game for the 2017/2018 season on Saturday, February 10, 2018 when Kabras Sugar head to Kisii RFC.
Wokorach has missed the opening eight matches with an injury sustained at Dubai Sevens. Last weekend, he played 50 minutes in the Eric Shirley Shield.
“He is doing great. He played 50 minutes last week for the 2nds. He's in great shape and raring to go. He's really worked hard to get back,” said Kabras Sugar head coach Charles Cardovillis.
His return sees Andrew Gathua drop to the bench.
Cardovillis makes up to six changes from the side that lost to Homeboyz as Stephen Ochieng comes in for Asuman Mugerwa while Steve Oluoch replaces Hillary Odhiambo for the two changes in the tight five. Odhiambo, however, moves to eight in place of Max Adaka who is not in the squad.
"We were slow off the blocks and just didn't recover. Against a quality side like them, you cannot afford to fall behind and try to play catch up"

"We expect them to be upbeat after last week. They will come to play, hoping they can cause a major upset. It's important we don't underestimate them and come out all guns blazing"
Nyambua will skipper the side in Adaka’s absence as fly-half Isaiah Mulongo replaces Kevin Keegan. Habila Malik moves from the bench to outside centre as Jacob Okumba misses out.
Martin Tavale is named to officiate the 4 pm clash.
