Kabras Sugar have defended the Christie 7s after beating Impala Saracens 19-7 on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at RFUEA grounds.
Philip Wokorach, Malik Habil and Dan Sikuta scored for Kabras with Leo Seje crossing over for Impala.
The win sees Kabras go on top in the standings with 85 points as Impala climb to second with 82 while Homeboyz drop to third with 78. Kabras beat Impala for the second leg in a row after seeing them off 26-7 at the Sepetuka 7s final.
Both sides ran in one tries in the first with Kabras failing to add the extras. Leo Seje crossed over for Impala with Mark Kwemoi adding the extras.
Ugandan international Philip Wokorach replied for Kabras after Ian Minjire had been sent to the bin but missed his kick.
Dan Sikuta would land a try deep in the second half to hand Kabras lead for the first time with Philip Wokorach adding the conversion to make it 12-7.
Kabras were not done yet as Malik Habil landed third to complete the win. Wokorach added the extras to win the game 19-7
To reach the Cup final, Impala saw off Kenya Harlequins 17-10 while Kabras on their side dismissed Nakuru RFC 17-12.
Nakuru RFC beat Quins to finish third, Mwamba had a fifth-place finish with a win over KCB, Nondies won the challenge while MKU Thika finished 13th after beating Kisii RFC.
