Kabras Sugar continued with their blistering start to the 2018/19 Kenya Cup season as they beat Top Fry Nakuru 50-8 on Sat Dec 1 in Kakamega.
It was Kabras Sugar's third consecutive win to maintain 100% start as well as a third bonus points. On the other side, Nakuru suffered a second defeat of the season after going down to Impala Saracens last weekend at home.
Brian Tanga started the scoring with Philip Wokorach adding the extras. Returning Felix Ayange would go over for Kabras’ second before Hanningtone Wabwire scored a penalty for Nakuru but Ayange was on it again with Paul Abuto taking scores to 24-3.
Philip Kwame pulled one back for the hosts with a converted try but Wokorach and Ayange further stretched Kabras Sugar’s lead before Fabian Olando also got his name on the board.
After failing to convert Olando’s try, Kevin Keegan got his boot right to add the extras after Barry Robinson made it 48-10.
Kabras head to struggling Strathmore Leos on amtchday 4 while Nakuru host Blak Blad.
