Kabras Sugar bagged their first ever win over KCB beating them 6-19 at KCB Sports Club on amtchday 6 of the 2019/20 Kenya Cup campaign, Saturday Nov 30.

Since earning Kenya Cup promotion, Kabras and KCb had met up to 10 times with KCB coming out on top in most cases with the most Kabras had ever secured being a draw. That included four Kenya Cup final defeats, three in Nairobi and one and most recent in Kakamega.

"Due to the torrential rains pouring around the Ruaraka Sports Club, both teams have agreed it is best to abandon the match on safety concerns. Kabras secure the 4 points by virtue of the current score," tweeted Kenya Cup.

This leaves Kabras Sugar as the only unbeaten side this season after ending KCB's 100% start to the season. KCB ended Homeboyz's unbeaten run last weekend. Kabras stay top with 29 points after the win.

Kabras led 3-12 at the interval before adding one try in the second half as KCB scored three more points.

KCB will look to bounce back when they head to Mwamba on matchday 7 while Kabras Sugar can register their 7th consecutive win when they host Western Bulls.
