Kabras schools Blad, Nondies feel the roar

Kabras Sugar and KCB maintained their lead at the top of the 2018/19 Kenya Cup log with home wins over Blak Blad and Nondescripts respectively on Sat March 16, 2019.

Leaders Kabras beat visiting Blak Blad 69-0 in Kakamega while KCB saw off Nondies 50-5 at KCB Sports Club. Both sides are tied at 59 points but KCB stay second due to goal difference.

Kenya Cup top try scorer Philip Wokorach took his tally to 21 with a hat-trick as Felix Ayange was also able to go over three times. Claude Johannes (2), Mario Wilson, Nick Baraza and Brain Tanga were the scorers for Kabras on Sat afternoon. 

KCB's meeting with Nondies was a revenge mission for the Champions who saw their 20-month unbeaten run ended by Nondies (27-22) back in November 2018. 

The defeat leaves Nondies at fourth with 41 points as Impala lost 15-20 to Top Fry Nakuru.
