Kabras Sugar registered their 10th consecutive win of the season beating visiting Homeboyz RFC 39-24 in Kakamega on Sat Feb 16, 2019.

The two sides were tied at 24-24 at some point before Kabras fullback Philip Wokorach sent in a penalty for a 27-24 lead. Winger Felix Ayange would land a try in the closing stages that was converted by Wokorach to make it 34-24.

Replacement prop Geoffrey Shitambasi ensured the hosts took all the points as he went over even though the conversion attempt was unsuccessful.

Hmeboyz had taken a 7-0 lead but Dan Sikuta got Kabras back to it with an unconverted try before center Mario Wilson took the score to 10-7 and eventually 17-7 but the Deejayz replied with a converted try.

Kabras led 24-14 at the interval only for Homeboyz to score 10 unanswered points.

The win sees Kabras stay top with 49 points, five above KCB who beat Impala 25-3 but missed a bonus. Kabras heads to KCB on match day 11 in what will be the biggest clash of the week.

Homeboyz stay sixth with 26 points after scoring only three tries.
