Kabras down Nondies; Mwamba pick losing bonus

Nondies' chances of getting relegated from the Kenya Cup are now higher more than ever after failing to win their postponed game against Kabras as they went down 26-10 on Saturday Feb 5, 2022 in Kakamega. 

The Red Lion sit bottom on seven points with only four games to go, three points off cut-off. Their remaining matches are against Mwamba and fellow strugglers Impala Saracens as well as Homeboyz RFC.

Eugene Sifuna and Jone Kubu(3) scored for Kabras with Rogena and Fidens going over for Nondies who take on Mwamba next weekend. Kabras host Strathmore Leos. 

In the capital,  Mwamba picked a losing bonus as they scored more than four tries in a thrilling encounter losing 30-39 to KCB at the RFUEA. Jacob Ojee (2), Max Kangeri, Oscar Simiyu, Darwin Mukidza and Essau Otieno were on the scoresheet for teh defending champions KCB.

Mwamba, who led 23-12 immediately after the interval, went over through Brian Kivasia, Joel Inzuga, Yahya Hussein and a penalty try but not enough to stun the bankers. 

KCB's next match is against Menengai Oilers as Mwamba hosts Nondies.
