Eden Agero put Quin ahead in the second minute but Kabras Sugar's Peter Nakarawa equalized for the Sugar belt boys and claimed the lead after Brian Tanga's conversion. Tanga would then convert Aluda Beda's try that claimed a 14-5 lead but Felix Ayange converted Max Theuri's try to make 12-14 at half time.

Kabras could have been further ahead as on the stroke of half time Habil Malik made a dash at the wing but knocked-on seconds away from touching down on a heavy tackle from cross covering Eden Agero.

Into the second half Kenya Sevens international Willy Ambaka showed his skills outclassing the Kabras' backs, including a flatteening of Aluda Beda with a massive hand-off, to land a centre try that was converted by Ayange.

After a series of awarded penalties, opportunity presented itself for Kabras and it is spesdster Aluda who went over to tie the game at 19-19. It then came down to Tanga to separate the game, his trajectory of the conversion dinking just right to end the reign of Quins as Kabras won it 21-19.
