There are five changes made by head coach Charles Cardovillis in the Kabras Sugar side to face KCB in the 10th round of the Kenya Cup on Saturday at KCB Sports Club.
From the side that beat Kisii RFC two weeks ago, Stephen Ochieng and Geoffrey Shitambasi make way for Ugandan Asuman Mugerwa and Coleman at tight-head and hooker respectively.
Hillary Odhiambo moves from eight to lock to pair Andrew Chogo as Nyambua, Mokua and Adaka complete the back row.
The only changes to the squad that will be seeking to hand KCB their first defeat of the season see Kevin Keegan start at fly-half while Fabian Olando and Kelvin Omiyo will do duty at centre.
Ugandan speedster Philip Wokorach starts at fullback with Andrew Gathua joining Pius Ogena, Ivan Kirabo, Messo Okello and Elphaz Okello at the bench.
Speaking to Raga House after naming the squad, Cardovillis described KCB as a “well-coached side, but the focus over the past two weeks has been more about our game.”
A win for Kabras will see the 2016 champions catch up with KCB and Homeboyz as they sot third with 38 points, one behind Homeboyz and six adrift of table-toppers KCB.
“We shall take it a game at a time and tackle any challenge that is presented to us,” added Cardovillis.
