Collins Injera and Billy Odhiambo have been named in the Kenya 7s team to Las Vegas 7s and Vancouver 7s set for March 2018.

The two return after missing Cape Town, Hamilton and Sydney 7s.

Others named in the squad are Oscar Ouma who will skipper the side in the absence of Oscar Ayodi, Andrew Amonde, Dan Sikuta, Willy Ambaka, Arthur Owira, Eden Agero, Sammy Oliech, Jeff Oluoch, Nelson Oyoo, Eric Ombasa and Sam Muregi.

Impala's Ian Minjire and Brian Tanga are named as the non-travelling subs.

At Las Vegas 7s, Kenya Sevens is in pool A alongside Hamilton 7s champions Fiji, France and Russia.

Series leaders South Africa will meet England, Canada and Wales in pool B as hosts USA play Spain, Samoa and Sydney 7s champions Australia.

New Zealand are in pool D with Scotland, Argentina and tournament’s invitational side to make the 16th slot.

Kenya Sevens is eighth in the standings with 35 points after collecting 10 in Dubai, three in Cape Town, 10 in Sydney and 12 in Hamilton.

The USA Sevens is the fifth of 10 tournaments in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series 2018. To date, the series has produced four different winners in South Africa (Dubai), New Zealand (Cape Town), Australia (Sydney) and Fiji (Hamilton).

There is added significant to the series this year with the Rugby World Cup Sevens under six months away in San Francisco. Teams will be battling it out not only for the HSBC USA Sevens title but also crucial seedings points which will determine the all-important draw for RWC Sevens in July
