Impala awards season's best

Kenya Cup side Impala Saracens held 2017 dinner and club awards on Friday August 4, 2017 in Nairobi awarding the club’s best performance.

Kenya Simbas scrum-half Samson Onsomu was named the season’s Most valuable player as Impala reached Kenya Cup quarters.

Second row Shem Angugo, who joined from Nondies, was named the rookie of the year after a fantastic performance as Impala won Eric Shirley Shield for the third year in a row.

Skipper Duncan Ekasi was awarded the top try scorer with 10 tries in the Kenya Cup while fullback George Okowa took the top point scorer with 71 points.

Most promising award was given to Antony Odhiambo while Paul Mutsami took home chairman’s award.Ian Manwa was given the shirt of Impala.
