Homeboyz win Christie 7s

Menengai Cream Homeboyz won Christie 7s for the first time in history beating Kenya Harlequin 24-19 in what was a thrilling comeback. The Deejayz were also confirmed overall champions with 22 points. 

Quins led  14-7 at the interval following Solomon Okia and Cyprian Kuto's tries with Homeboyz going over through Jeff Okwach as Jonstone Olindi added the comeback.

Oluoch continued the comeback in the second half adding his second before Olindi and captain Leonard Mugaisi completed the win. Okia had Quins' third try.

Homeboyz duo of Brian Wandera and Alvin Otieno made the Christie 7s dream team with Quins trio of Herman Humwa, Eden Agero and Cyprian Kuto also being named.

To reach cup final, Homeboyz beat Strathmore while Quins saw off a spirited Blue Bulls and TUK Combined. 

Invitational side Blue Bulls and TUKS from South Africa finished third after beating Leos 31-7, KCB won Plate after seeing off Emerging Uganda 29-5,  Nondies won challenge trophy with a 21-14 win over Nakuru.

Menengai Oilers finished 13th after beating Impala 12-5.
