Homeboyz tame Nondies, Blad dismantle Western Bulls

Homeboyz and Blak Blad had a perfect Kenya Cup matchday 11 beating Nondies and Western Bulls respectively at Jamhuri Showground and Kenyatta University on Sat Jan 18.

The Deejayz beat Nondies 11-37 as Blad saw off visiting Western Bulls 44-0.

Inform Bob Muhati, Joshua Chisanga and Mohamed Omolo's penalty saw Homeboyz lead 11-15 at the interval with Biko Adema converting two penalties for Nondies as well as Fidel Oloo going over.

Homeboyz scored 10 unanswered points after the interval via Mohamed Omollo's try that was converted by Evin Asena who also sent in a penalty. Zedden Marrow would be sent to the bin reducing Homeboyz to 14 men yet again - Muhati and Abel Matanda had been sent out in the first half- but there was nothing to worry as Stanley Isogol was on target with Asena adding the extras.

Homeboyz stay second on 44 points, Nondies stay eighth on 21 while Blak Blad climb to 10th with 13 points leapfrogging Bulls. Archadius Khwesa scored a hattrick with Brian Wahinya, Dennis Odhiambo, Kevin Gathu and man of the match Ian Obukwa also scoring. 

Lionel Ajeliti converted three and had a drop goal attempt go in.
