Menengai Cream Homeboyz are on course of defending their Dala 7s title after beating Blak Blad 22-7 in the cup semis.

Levy Amunga's converted try opened the proceedings but the Djs levelled through Charles Omondi's converted try. Cyprian Kuto touched down to ensure the series defending champions lead 12-7 at the break.

Jeff Olouch and Bush Mwale's second-half tries took the scores to 22-7.

Homeboyz will play KCB in the final after the latter beat Kabras Sugar 12-5.

For Homeboyz to win the overall circuit, they must win the Dala 7s and hope Kabras lose in the third-place playoff against Blak Blad.

If Homeboyz loses to KCB and Kabras loses to Blad, Kabras will win with 100 points as Homeboyz finishes second with 97.
