Homeboyz, Quins through to Driftwood 7s quarters

Homeboyz and Kenya Harlequins are through to the Driftwood 7s quarters after bagging two wins on Saturday September 2, 2017 in Mombasa.

Homeboyz beat Western Bulls 36-7 to add to their 27-5 win over Blak Blad earlier in the day.

Quins, who are the Driftwood 7s defending champions,  had beaten Oilers 17-0 before putting the same points past Kisii RFC to sail through. Top Fry Nakuru, who had beaten Western Bulls 12-0 in their opening match, are not yet through as they were held to a 10-10 draw by Blak Blad. 

Mwamba RFC have a slim chance to sail through after drawing 17-17 with Kisii RFC and losing 14-0 to Menengai Oilers. Their last match will be against Quins who seek to top the pool as Kisii takes on Oilers.

Impala Saracens bounced back from a 7-5 defeat to Machine to beat Mombasa RFC 25-0 ahead of their last clash against KCB. The bankers had an easy win over Mombasa RFC but Mean Machine gave them a hard time managing to win with 7-5.

Strathmore Leos started the day on a low note losing 17-12 to Nondies with their second match set to be against KCA then Kabras Sugar.
