Stanbic Mwamba, Menengai Cream Homeboyz and Nondies are the first Kenya Cup sides to book a place in tomorrow's Kabeberi 7s quarters, the second stop of 2019 Stanbic 7s.

Homeboyz registered 22-0 and 31-0 wins over Catholic Monks and Mean Machine respectively while Nondies were 24-0 and 26-24 winners over Egerton Wasps and Kenya Harlequin in respective.

Mwamba beat Quins 17-12 and Egerton 53-0 with their last pool match against Nondies set to determine who tops pool C.

Quins have now suffered seven consecutive defeats in the 2019 Stanbic 7s and will play in the Challenge trophy on Sunday just like last week in Kakamega.

Kakamega 7s champions KCB started the day with a 32-0 win over Meru RFC but lost their second game 10-12 to Menengai Oilers meaning there have to wait till the last round of matches to know their quarter's fate.

Impala Saracens started with a 21-21 draw with Oilers but bounced back to winning ways beating Meru RFC to set up a thrilling last pool clash with KCB later on Saturday.
