Former Kenya Harlequins winger Brian Wandera is among four debutants for Homeboyz in the Impala Floodlit tournament against Quins on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Impala Club.
The others are Israel Soi and Mohammed Omollo both who joined from Impala Saracens but could not play Sevens due to transfer restrictions.
Kevin Ochami is in line for another debut at inside-centre after returning from Impala.
Kelvin Masai will start as the fly-half of the day with Omollo set to replace him. Omollo had a fantastic performance with Impala in the Kenya Cup.
With Masai playing at 10, Brian Gisemba will be the scrum-half of the day with Ochami and Soi being the centres.
Former Nakuru backrower Dalmus Chituyi will be making his second appearance for Homeboyz starting at open-side while Kenyan international Steve Otieno is up for yet another season at eight. He made the writers team of the season in 2016/2017 season.
Thomas Okidia and Patrick Ouko are the day’s props as Aaron Khalechi hooks while skipper Emmanuel Mavala and Roy Wesonga continue with their partnership at lock.
Cyprian Kuto, Haroun Lubisia, Elphas Otieno, Polycarp Odhiambo, Keith Wasike and Stanley Isogol make up the replacements.
The winner of Homeboyz/Quins will face KCB/Kisii RFC in cup semis.
