In-form Homeboyz and Kabras Sugar continued with winning ways beating Top Fry Nakuru 47-5 and Mwamba RFC 56-13 on matchday 13 of the 2019/20 Kenya Cup on Sat Feb 1.
Kabras remain on top now on 60 points while Homeboyz are third on 54 as KCB sit second on 59 after beating Kenya Harlequin 29-3.
Menengai Oilers bounced back to winning ways beating Western Bulls 43-17 after last weekend’s derby defeat to rivals Wanyore.
Homeboyz ran in four converted tries to lead 28-0 at halftime before adding three more in the second half, two of which were converted.
Evin Asena converted Leonard Mugaisi, Michael Wanjala, Mohammed Omollo and Joshua Chisanga’s tries.
Jan Remke, Elphas Emong and Chisanga went over in the second half as Omollo added the extras while Nakuru’s try was scored by Gramwel Bunyasi.
In Kakamega, Jone Kubu(2), Ntabeni Dukisa, George Nyambua, Eugene Sifuna and Walter Okoth scored as Kabras beat visiting Mwamba RFC.
Kenya Cup takes a break for Enterprise Cup on Saturday Feb 8 with league action set to return on 15th when Homeboyz head to Oilers, Kabras visit Impala and Kisumu host Mwamba.
