Homeboyz, Blad ring changes for mid-table clash

Homeboyz head coach Simon Odongo named Henry Ayah and Mohamed Omolo as half-backs for Kenya Cup round six clash with Homeboyz at Jamhuri Showground on Sat Jan 12, 2019.

The Deejayz have not had a perfect start to the new season like Kabras and will need maximum points between now and the end of the season to qualify directly to Kenya cup semis.

Stanley Isogl, Roy Wesonga and Bruce Shiemi are named as the day’s backrows while Israel Soi and Collins Shikoli are on the wings.

Making the bench include Mark Ongayo who will be facing his former side, Kenya Simbas international Patrick Ouko, Elfas Etemesi, Jacob Owaa and Leon Adongo while positions 21 and 22 are yet to be confirmed.

Brian Wahinya starts at nine for Blad with Byron Ogada being the fly-half while Wesley Kidinga is at lock alongside Brave Mukoro. Ted Okal and Klain Ongaki are both on the wings with Archadius Khwesa settling for a place on the bench.

Going into matchday 6, Homeboyz are 8th with 11 points while Blad are just a point below them making this a mid-table clash.
