Homeboyz are the official winners of 2016 national sevens circuit after gaining 123 points by the end of Christie sevens.

They reached all the six finals (Prinsloo, Kabeberi, Driftwood, Dala, Nanyuki and Christie) winning three of them and losing three.

Improvement

It was a massive improvement from the 2014 runners-up who ended last season placed sixth with 67 points.

Kenya Harlequins, who ended up third in 2015 with 75 points improved to finish second with 103 points as Impala Saracens improved from 69 points and a fifth place to end up third with 97 points.

Strathmore Leos maintained fourth place with 88 points, 15 better than last year while Kabras Sugar closed the top five with 84 points after reaching Christie sevens final.

2015 runners-up Mwamba bagged 69 points, 12 less that the tally of 2015 to finish seventh followed by dethroned Champion Nakuru who managed 58 points, 31 short of the 91 that handed them the 2015 title.

Kenyatta University's Blakblad improved two places from 2015 to finish at position nine with 43 while newbies Menengai Oilers, coached by Gibson Weru who guided Nakuru to the title last year, close the top 10 with 27 points.

Mean Machine, Nondescripts, Catholic Monks and Western Bulls follow each other in 11, 12, 13 and 14 with 24, 20, 15 and 14 points respectively.
