On Sunday evening, Kenya Cup side Homeboyz RFC were crowned national sevens circuit champions after Christie 7s with 122 points.
The Deejayz beat Kenya Harlequin at Christie 7s final to confirm their win collecting the maximum 22 points from the leg. They won Prinsloo 7s, Sepetuka 7s, Kabeberi 7s and Christie 7s adding to reaching Dala 7s final.
This is the second time in history Homeboyz have been crowned the sevens champions after doing so in 2016.
Going to Christie 7s, Homeboyz needed to reach cup semis to be crowned national champions but their closest competitor Mwamba, lost their quarterfinal tie to Blue Bulls and TUKS.
Mwamba finished second with 102 points, KCB and Nakuru maintained their third and fourth slots with 94 and 80 points respectively while Quins climbed on the last day to fifth with 70 points.
2016 champions Kabras Sugar finished sixth with 62 points, three above 7th placed Nondies.
