Four teams relegated after Prinsloo 7s

Four teams are relegated from the first division of national sevens circuit after Prinsloo 7s courtesy of dropping to 13th place semis or losing challenge trophy quarters on Sunday July 22, 2018. 

Blak Blad, Kisumu RFC, Nzoia Sugar Webuye and Mombasa RFC will play in division II of Sepetuka 7s next Saturday in Eldoret. They can however be invited to division one by hosts Homeboyz RFC. 

The four sides lost their challenge trophy quarters ties with Blak Blad going ahead to beat Kisumu RFC in 13th place final.

In Challenge quarters, Blak Blad lost 12-10 to Mean Machine, Mombasa went down 19-14 to Nondies, Kisumu were thrashed 38-0 by Strathmore while Nzoia Sugar Webuye lost 31-0 to Catholic Monks.
