KCB and Impala Saracens set up a repeat of last year's final after beating Homeboyz 34-10 in the second semifinal of Impala Floodies on Saturday October 20, 2018.
KCB won the 2017 Floodies beating Impala 18-17 and went ahead to win the Kenya Cup unbeaten.
The bankers were too good for the Deejayz managing to run in four tries, two penalties and four conversions against Homeboyz's two unconverted tries.
Darwin Mukidza's opening back to back penalties were followed by tries from Martin Owilah, Ahmed Shaban, Stafford Abeka and Peter Kilonzo with Shaban converting three and Isaac Njoroge one.
Steve 'Security' Otieno bagged a brace for the Deejayz with Johnstone Olindi and Evin Asena missing conversion attempts. Andrew Amonde of KCB was named the man of the match.
Impala Saracens avoided a last minute scare from Strathmore Leos winning 20-18 to reach Floodies final.
Leos looked like they were on their way to bagging an important win but a knock-on inside Impala's 22 ensured the hosts celebrate at fulltime.
Impala ran in three tries, one penalty and a conversion against Strathmore's two tries and two penalties. Leos had taken a 3-0 lead through Gideon Makumi's penalty but Impala went ahead to score three tries through Billy Omondi, Paul Mutsami and Elvis Oroko as Kenya 7s half-back Sammy Oliech was sure with the goal-kicks.
Albert Obura scored Leos' first try followed by Alex Maina whose try would have seen things level 20-20 if Makumi would have sent the conversion in.
