False start for Kenya at Paris 7s

Kenya started their chase for the Paris 7s diadem with a 24-5 loss to New Zealand on Saturday 9 June in France in a pool A opener.

An unconverted Willy Ambaka try in the first minute teased the All Blacks who went on to lead 17-5 at half time.

DJ Collier had a brace of tries as Kurt Baker and Tim Mikellson added one each for New Zealand. Two were converted. 

In the following group A game, Series leaders Fiji beat Samoa 35-12 to top the group early.

Kenya and Fiji lick horns in the next pool A game at 2.46pm.
