Rift valley nationwide league yet again saw walkovers dominate the day as only one out of four matches were played on Saturday, January 13, 2018.

KPA Eldoret, Kabarak University and Molo RFC were scheduled to be on the road for the round four clashes but they did not travel.

Molo handed a walkover to Kericho, Kabarak failed to visit Nakuru Kiti while KPA Eldoret did not go to Eldoret RFC.

Only Kitale RFC travelled to Eldoret to take on Eldoret Falcons at Eldoret Sports Club beating the hosts 29-6 to stay top in the standings with 15 points.

Wingers Felix Mangole, Brian Nayombe and centre Jeremy Chimwami touched down in the first half as Kitale led 19-0 before returning to add 10 points through Rama Wafula’s try that was converted by John Ng’ang’a and Chimwami’s penalty.

Falcons’ two penalties came from fly-half Ken Kinuthia early in the second half with the defeat seeing them drop to sixth in the regional standings.
