Embu RFC to hold annual dinner

Nationwide side Embu RFC will on Saturday No 3, 2018 hold it's annual club dinner in Embu town.

The Black Tie event will kick-off at 6pm at the Izaak Walton Hotel in Embu County. 

Former Kenya 7s international and legend Humphrey Kayange will be the guest speaker according to Embu RFC chairman Moses Mukabane. Kayange, who retired from Sevens Rugby earlier this year, is a NOCK executive and Council member Kenya academy of Sport. 

Some of the activities of the evening according to Mukabane will new kits launch for 2018/19 season that kicks-off a week after the dinner. Fundraising will also be another activity as Embu RFC seeks to get funds to run their activity for the long season that runs from November to August 2019. 

Tickets for the Dinner are going for Ksh1500 and Ksh2,500 for VIP while the players' table is Ksh10,000. 

Last season, Embu RFC reached Central nationwide semis losing to Kiambu RFC 18-15. They kick off the new campaign against JKUAT Cougars who start their life in the nationwide after two seasons in the second tier, KRU Championship.
