Eliakim named Mwamba captain

Kenya Cup side Stanbic Mwamba RFC named Eliakim Kichoi as the new men’s sevens captain the upcoming season.

A statement from Kulabu on Wednesday morning said "the Kulabu veteran, who takes over the reins from the unavailable long-time skipper Brad Owako, has represented the Black Shirts for six years. He will be assisted by Ronnie Omondi and Daniel Taabu. Greg Odhiambo is also part of the team’s leadership group."

Mwamba is currently preparing for the National Sevens Circuit that kicks off this weekend with Prinsloo 7s. The team is under the watchful eye of Kevin Wambua assisted by Louis Kisia.

At Prinsloo 7s, Mwamba is in pool A with Strathmore Leos, Mean Machine and Kabras Sugar.
