Egerton down USIU as Bulls fall to Catholic

Western Bulls suffered their second defeat of the season in the Championship going down 18-15 to Catholic Monks at Catholic University.

Bulls had handed Oilers their first loss last weekend but Catholic Monks ran in two tries and goals to win the ties.

Max Omondi bagged the brace as Breman Namisi did the kicking for Monks to seal the four-point win. Bulls picked a losing bonus.

Monks stay fifth but move to 27 points as Bulls stay third with 37 points.

USIU went down 5-22 to Egerton Wasps at home as the latter picked a third win of the season.

Wasps led 10-0 at the break courtesy of lock Alvin Otieno and winger Reuben Mugar before Bramwell Omwanga and Emman Namkuru sealed the win in the second half with touchdowns.

The bonus point win takes Egerton to 16 points which are above Ngong RFC at position 9.
