The 2018 Diani beach touch rugby tournament will be held on the last weekend of July at Forty Thieves bar.
The 10th edition will run from Friday July 27th to Sunday 29th in South Coast, Kwale County.
In May, Championship side South Coast Pirates who will stage the tournament said posted on facebook "Dates for the tenth edition of the Diani Beach Touch Rugby tournament have been announced."
The international tournament brings together sides from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Somalia as well as Army sides residing in East Africa.
The three-day tournament starting Friday evening under flood light and the final games on Sunday afternoon. Friday and Saturday will be run on a ‘league’ basis and Sunday’s games will be a ‘knock out’ competition.
Each team will have eight players per team with only five on the field and three on the bench while teams have been asked to come with a referee.
Academy Warriors were crowned champions of the 2017 Diani Beach Rugby Tournament beat Forty Thieves 1-0 in a thrilling encounter contested for by two teams drawn from the host and primary club South Coast Pirates.
