Kenya 7s international Oscar Dennis will link up with his local club -Nondies in August after a three-month stint in USA.
Dennis is currently in the US with Chicago Lions “only for the offseason and back towards the end of August.”
This comes after it was reported by the People Daily last week that Dennis would be away for a year. He denied that report.
“I am here to help the Chicago lions to try and get to nationals,” Dennis exclusively told Raga House.
"I’m back in August to play the last two legs with Nondies and re-join Kenya 7s hopefully for next HSBC season".
Chicago Lions are set to take part in six summer tournaments and have acquired Dennis’ services, a time Kenya 7s is on a break.
The tournaments, running from June 15 to July 20, are Forest City 7s at Rockford IL, Firehouse 7s, National Open qualifier, Legacy 7s, Midwest 7s Championship and Club national championships.

Dennis says he’ll be available for Christie 7s and Driftwood 7s to be played on Sep 1 and Sep 8 with Nondies set to benefit from his presence.
The Nondies star was part of the Kenya 7s squad for 2019 series but suffered an injury that ruled him out of London and Paris 7s.
He travelled to the USA after Paris 7s.
