After Kenya Cup side Homeboyz RFC staged a memorable rugby tournament in Eldoret, Kenya Harlequins are promising another good rugby show in their upcoming Christie 7s set for Saturday, October 14, 2017, at RFUEA grounds.

Quins will stage the penultimate round of the 2017 National Sevens Circuit with up to four teams in contention to win the overall title.

Speaking to Quins.co,ke, Christies director James Absaloms says tournament's preps are in the closing stages:

"Preparations for the tournament are in the closing stages and we are ready to start implementation as of Monday. This is going to be a veritable smorgasbord of rugby. All sides are gunning to improve their rankings and will bring out their best."

"We expect this to be a climax of the series with the winner possibly being decided here. So a good weekend of rugby is on offer," added Absaloms.

Christie 7s draw is yet to be released as Quins have not confirmed three teams to be invited to take part in division one alongside Sepetuka 7s division II winners Daystar Falcons.

Last year's Christie 7s was won by Kabras Sugar who beat Homeboyz 22-5. The Deejayz were confirmed as overall series winners after reaching Cup quarters.
