KCB will be without Kenya Simbas captain and flanker Davis Chenge in Saturday’s Floodies final against Menengai Oilers at Impala Club, from 7.30pm.

Change started in the semifinal win over Homeboyz RFC but misses out on the match day 23 after getting a knock in training this week to be replaced by another Kenyan international Martin Owilah.

Owilah, who returned to action at this year’s Floodies after up to 10 months on the sidelines, will start at blindside with Steve Wamai starting at open side at Rocky Aguko at number 8.

Other positions remain unchanged with Samuel Asati at scrum-half, Isaac Njoroge at fullback and Stephen Osumba at fly-half.

Scrum-half Felix Wanjala replaces Marlin Mukolwe on the bench with Brodie Kagai taking Owila’s slot on the bench.

KCB beat Homeboyz 38-14 to reach Floodies final while Oilers saw off Kenya Harlequin 30-21.

The Kenya Cup champions are looking to win the Impala Floodlit tournament for the seventh time in eight years and third in a row. They won in 2013, 2014 and 2015 then 2017 and 2018.

Menengai Oilers have never won Floodies cup.
