Western Bulls picked a 17-10 win off Resolution Kisii RFC in the KRU Championship league second week of action, in a duel held at the Bull ring, Kakamega.

A brace from Derrick Ashiundu and an converted try from Kisii Rfc old boy, Suleiman Odongo saw Echulusi collect their second win into the new season after last week's 14-15 win over MMUST.

Bull’s tactician Bramwel Shikanda was elated at his team’s victory. “We shall strive to maintain the winning momentum into our next matches,” he said.

Kisii RFC Coach Eric Bosire blamed poor finishing for their defeat. “We had clear chances which we could have given us the victory but they were not made use of properly.”

Over at the Rift Valley, the neighborhood clash pitting Kitale RFC and University of Eldoret Trojans at the Equip Africa College in Kitale, ended 10-6 in favor of the hosts.

The win serves as a reprieve for the Ben Amboko led side after last week's 11-6 loss to Kisii, UoE Trojans on the other hand soak in the second subsequent loss after a 20-9 dubbing by Kisumu in week one.
