Mean Machine head to Nakuru for the KRU Championship final against Menengai Oilers on Saturday May 5, 2018 from 3pm.

Both sides have already qualified for the Kenya Cup as Machine seeks complete a double over Menengai Oilers who finished top in the regular season.

Head coach Philem Kidakwa has named Shadon Munoko to skipper the 23 to Nakuru with the likes f Grevis Onyino, James Oluoch, Brian Marube, Marvin Karungii and Festus Shaisi starting.

Maurice Murimi and Isaac Waweru are in the midfield as Alfred Orege and Edward Maroko start on the wings.

Machine became the only side to beat Oilers at home this season when they beat them 5-33 on Saturday April 14. On that particular afternoon, Machine ran in five tries to win with a bonus as Festus Shiasi, Maurice Murimi, Grevis Onyino, Ken Mutuku and Alfred Orege were all on score-sheet.

"We punished them with our mauls and 1st centre and we contained their pushover scrums," said Kidakwa who expects Oilers to "counter our mauls focus, defence on the midfield and improve their contact skills."

Bruce Odhiambo, Lewis Kingston, Ken Mutuku and Collins Otieno start from the bench.
