Bulls in a narrow win over UoE as USIU, Kisumu, Catholic rise

Western Bulls came from behind to beat UoE Trojans 13-10 in the seventh round of the Championship on Saturday in Eldoret.

Trojans led 10-5 before Teddy Akala gave Bulls an important try before the break to level 10-10.

There was less activity in terms of scores in the second half with Bulls managing to score a winning penalty to take the four points.

Western Bulls stays third with 22 points, seven behind leaders Menengai Oilers and Mean Machine.

Catholic Monks were also victors beating Ngong RFC 8-0. Moses Labuke crossed over but the conversion was not correct with Newton Wasike scoring a penalty.

The four points mean Catholic rise to sixth with 15 points. They overtake Ngong while Kisumu RFC moves to fifth as USIU maintains at fourth.

USIU beat JKUAT 25-5 as Kisumu RFC beat Egerton Wasps 27-0 to have 16 points in total. Catholic has 15.
