Blue Bulls out of Christie 7s

The fifth round of the Stanbic 7s, Christie 7s has seen one foreign side -South African outfit Blue Bulls and Tuks pull out of the tournament four days to the action set for August 31, 2019 at RFUEA Grounds.

Blue Bulls and Tuks and competed at last season's Christie 7s while Ugandas Pirates was set for the 2019 Kabeberi 7s but pulled out at the last minute. The South African has been replaced by Blak Blad. 

"Pool changes| Blak Blad replaces the Blue Bulls and TUKS in Pool C of the Division One Category. Kenya Prisons will take up the Division Two Pool B slot that was occupied by BlakBlad," tweeted KRU on Tuesday. 

The Ugandan outfit will play Homeboyz, Impala Saracens and Kenya Harlequin in pool B that has all only Ngong road sides. 

Blue Bulls and Tuks were in pool C that has Nakuru RFC, Kabras Sugar and MMUST Rugby as Prinsloo 7s Div II champions Daystar Falcons prepares to play Menengai Oilers, KCB and Northern Suburbs. 

Prinsloo 7s Div 1 winners Stanbic Mwamba are seeded top with Strathmore Leos, Nondies and invitational side Egerton Wasps being the other teams.

Pool A: Stanbic Mwamba, Strathmore Leos, Nondies, Egerton Wasps
Pool B: Homeboyz, Impala Saracens, Kenya Harlequin, Pirates Uganda
Pool C: Nakuru RFC, Kabras Sugar, MMUST, Blak Blad
Pool D: Menengai Oilers, KCB, Northern Suburbs, Daystar Falcons
