Billy Odhiambo will make timely return to Kenya Cup for a charged Mwamba RFC in their semifinal clash with Kabras Sugar in Kakamega on Saturday afternoon.

The outside center has sat of team’s last couple of matches due to an injury, not featuring since the 34-24 defeat to Menengai Oilers on April 6 that saw him bag a hattrick and help Mwamba seal a playoff slot despite the defeat.

The Kenya 7s international’s return means Joel Inzuga, who started at OC in the 17-18 win over Top Fry Nakuru in Kenya Cup quarters, moves to the wing.

Alex Aturo is on the open-wing, Collins Injera –at 23 tries- joins Billy at midfield while Kenya 7s playmaker Daniel Taabu replaces Elvis Namusasi at fullback.

Greg Odhiambo will not make the trip to Kakamega as he remains in Nairobi with work commitments, according to mwambarugby.com

On the bench, Paul Wahome and Eliakim Kichoi takes the places of Louis Kisia and Hussein Yahya respectively.

Eugene Sudi and Deus Mudaki will be on either side of veteran hooker Salaton Muturi with George Omolla and Steven Sikuta pairing up in the locks.

Regular meeting between Kabras and Mwamba, played on Sat January 26 in Kakamega, ended 46-15 to Mwamba.
