Nondies RFC centre Biko Adema is advising his side to put a bit of strength training as they seek to become the first team to stop KCB in the eighth round of the Kenya Cup.
Speaking to the official club portal, Adema says little effort will make a difference in steaming the KCB tide.
“We will need to be better at pacing the match and knowing where to play, and make the right decisions in the right areas of the pitch,”
Adema speaks after guiding Nondies to a Kenya Cup win over Kisii RFC where he captained the side for the 29-22 win.
“The centre field referee made some calls that disoriented players, but we did not stick to the game plan we had trained on for the match,” Adema said.
“Additionally he encouraged his teammates to review available footage of KCB in order to understand how their opposite numbers play and prepare for them adequately,” said the release by Nondies.
Quins, Homeboyz, Strathmore Leos and Blak Blad have all lost at the Den. Will Nondies be next or they can do what the Deejayz, Quins, Leos and Blad have failed to do? 4 pm on Saturday.
