Homeboyz RFC face their biggest task this season so far when they head to KCB for match day 5 clash on Saturday Nov 23, 2019.
Both KCB and Homeboyz have won their four matches to remain unbeaten alongside Kabras Sugar.
Homeboyz will be seeking to hand KCB their fourth Kenya Cup defeat in 57 matches.
KCB's last Kenya Cup defeat came last season when they went down 27-22 to Nondies. The only other defeat came Saturday March 11, 2017 when they lost 27-24 to Impala.
Homeboyz beat KCB 24-33 at KCB Sports Club becoming the only side in three years to defeat KCB at home.
Speaking to Raga House ahead of match day 5 clash, Homeboyz head coach Jason Hector said the Deejayz are well prepared for the blockbuster.
“We are expecting a physical encounter. The boys are putting hard work and talking with them you can get a sense of excitement.”
“It won’t be a walk in the park. We will give our best.”
Homeboyz’s start to the season has yielded good results beating Kenya Harlequin 26-13, Top Fry Nakuru 10-15, Menengai Oilers 25-20 and Western Bulls 36-17.
“We take each match as it comes. We are very happy so far but we know there is a lot more.”
“Hopefully by Christmas break we can still be in the top 4 then new year we can try secure playoffs. KCB are mentally strong , don’t accept complancecy and they have senior crew of players and stuff,” added Hector.
After KCB, Homeboyz will host Blak Blad, visit Kisumu RFC, play Kabras Sugar at home and close the year against Mwamba RFC.
