Sinaida Aura scored four tries as Kenya Lionesses edged closer to qualifying for Sevens World Cup by beating Morocco 47-0 in the Africa 7s quarters on Sunday, September 17, 2017, in Tunisia.
Kenya ran in four converted tries in the first half through Northern Suburbs winger Sinaida Aura's double with Homeboyz star Janet Owino adding the extras. Assistant captain Sheila Chajira and Olympian Celestine Masinde crossed over just before the hooter to make it 28-0 after conversions.
Aura returned in the second half to complete a hat-trick in what has been a perfect weekend for the former Mwamba RFC winger. Kenya was awarded a penalty try with a minute to go after a high tackle for scores to be 42-0. Aura would bag her fourth try to make the game unreachable for the opponents.
The second quarterfinal will see South Africa play Senegal as Madagascar takes on Zimbabwe and Tunisia play Uganda.
In the semis, Kenya will at 3.12pm take on the winner of Tunisia/ Zimbabwe clash with the winner of SA/Senegal clash playing either Madagascar or Uganda.
