All set for Kenya Cup week 1

The demanding race for the Kenya Cup 2019/20 title kicks-off on Saturday Oct 26 with all 12 teams in action at 4pm Kenyan time. 

Defending champions KCB welcome promoted side Western Bulls at the Den with the ESS side taking on Western Bulls II at 2pm.

Last season’s runners up Kabras Sugar will also be at home to 2019 Championship winners Kisumu RFC as Blak Blad hosts Mwamba at Kenyatta University.

First Nakuru derby of the season will be on the opening day as Menengai Oilers are set to host Top Fry Nakuru in what promises to be a day 1 thriller. 

Another derby, in Nairobi, will be between Ngong road sides Nondies and Impala Saracens at Jamhuri Showground while Quins head to Showground to play Homeboyz RFC. 

Pool A has champions KCB, Quins, Nakuru, Oilers, Homeboyz and Bulls as last season’s runners up Kabras headline pool B that has Mwamba, Impala, Nondies, Blad and Kisumu RFC.

TV broadcasters Bamba Sports are expected to communicate any changes to kick-off time.
