Kenya Simbas international Edwin Achayo is set to return to the Kenya Cup when Kabras hosts Strathmore Leos on Saturday, December 2, 2017.

Achayo lastly featured for Kabras in the Kenya Cup final against KCB in a season he played less than nine matches due to an ankle injury.

The scrum-half replaces Ugandan international Ivan Kirabo who is rested after starting in the win over Mwamba RFC in the opening day of the season.

Hillary Odhiambo misses out with illness as Messo Okello comes onto the bench with Steve Oluoch moving from flank to lock in the return of Kenya Simbas backrower George Nyambua.

Former Blak Blad winger Andrew Gatuha gets to start at fullback replacing Felix Ayange who has gone to Dubai to represent Samurai 7s.

Kabras will play their next two matches at home before starting the away journey with a trip to Mombasa RFC on Saturday, December 16.

Strathmore started the season with a 27-0 defeat to KCB as Kabras saw off Mwamba 29-22.
